Our First Edition Newsletter

Hello, and welcome to this edition of the Frame It Sheffield newsletter.

It’s hard to believe we’re already 2 months into 2023, but time does fly when you’re having fun! Here at FIS, we’ve picked up right where we left off in 2022 and we’ve been firing on all cylinders.

We are a small (but perfectly-formed!) picture framing business, specialising in sports memorabilia. Located on the corner between Hodgson Street and Headford Street, a stone’s throw from the Moor Market, we’re open Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. We have a great variety of frame styles and mount colours to choose from, sourced from the country’s top suppliers. Book an appointment with us, and one of our team will happily discuss our framing options with you. Whatever you want to showcase on your wall, yes – we frame it!

So, what have we been up to?

As always, our shtick is framing sports memorabilia, and one of our favourite things to frame is football shirts for matchday sponsors. It’s been an exciting weekend for football, and we’ve provided our framing services for Sheffield United, Barnsley FC, Doncaster Rovers, and Sheffield Wednesday (don’t tell our MD David about that last one…).

We were recently delighted to frame a signed Sheffield United home shirt (pictured right) for local legend John “The Man with the Pram” Burkhill, who is seen almost daily on the streets of Sheffield, tirelessly fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support. The shirt in question is to be auctioned off, with 100% of the proceeds going towards his goal of £1million. He is currently very close to reaching this incredible target – why not have a look at his justgiving page?

 Framed Sports Memorabilia

Whilst we specialise in sports memorabilia framing, we can frame anything you like. Our clients include artists, collectors, sports clubs, and anyone who wants to visually enhance their pride and joy with a bespoke frame. Perhaps you have lots of beloved photographs that you’d love to get framed, but you have limited wall space. Well, why not have them all in the same frame? We recently completed an exciting project for a customer with a smart multi-aperture design.

We work closely with our parent company, Pinders, who make print work at every scale. Thanks to our state-of-the-art Arizona large-format printer, we’re able to print directly onto glass and mountboard to create a truly unique finish to your frame. You won’t find many framers who can offer this!

Winners of Framed Sheffield United shirts

Last but not least, we wanted to say a massive congratulations to our prize draw winners, each of whom will receive their very own framed Sheffield United shirt, complete with our unique mount design and the United crest printed onto the glass. We love seeing your frames hanging up in situ – please do share them on social media and tag us! Find us on Instagram @frameitsheffield.

That’s it for this edition of our newsletter – we’ve got some exciting things planned for the coming months so watch this space! In the meantime, as always, find us online at
